Dr. Craig Cummins, MD

Went to Dr. Cummins because my child was having shoulder pain from athletics. We did our research and he looked to be the best in the area. Made our appointment and filled out all the paperwork AHEAD OF TIME. We got to our appointment 15 mins early with our paperwork complete because we were new patients. We waited 45 minutes to be called, 10 mins for an xray, and was at least 1 hour before we actually saw the doctor. Walked in and he was very casual. You could tell he had a chip on his shoulder when he walked in. Asked my child about the pain, he pushed on the bad shoulder a couple times and basically told us that they should not be playing sports year round. Basically infered that we were bad parents for letting our child play athletics year round 5 days a week. He told us nothing is out of the ordinary, xray is fine, just rest. Asked him how to make the muscles stronger or exercises we could do to prevent problems in the future, no response, just said that they offer… physical therapy we can pay for. Waist of time and money, don't do to this doctor. He just thought we were bad parents and had his mind made up before he walked in the room.

I saw Dr. Cummings over the course of about two years as he put me back together following an auto accident. His skill speaks for itself as I have full mobility in all injured areas. His care and concern for me personally is something rarely seen in a doctor. His attitude and sense of humor are always upbeat. Thank you Sir!

Great doctor

I would highly recommend Dr. Cummins for any orthopedic work - he is professional and courteous. He listened to and addressed my questions/concerns regarding my shoulder and made helpful recommendations for treatment. His medical staff is wonderful - very positive, friendly, very approachable and responsive to calls.

Dr. Cummins did an amazing job on multiple shoulder surgeries due to accident. Regained almost full range of motion. Always felt I was getting all the information and never felt during follow-up appointments.

Best shoulder surgeon, period. Great bed side mannor. Geniune understanding of patients needs. I've had both shoulders fitted with replacements. Thank goodness for replacement parts. I'm on my way to complete recovery.
