Dr Dopf made sure all avenues (shots) were tried before actual back surgery was needed. He was easy to work with and explained everything so you understood the whole process. Everything went exactly as he said it would and now I'm able to walk pain free.

My wife who was near death spent 4 or 5 days elsewhere waiting to be diagnosed. When she finally could understand where she was and why she awoke to what she expressed was a pair of gorgeous blue eyes, I was relieved instead of jealous. Dr. Dopf had saved her life! Literally! And since that day has helped us though many tense moments. A professional to the end, this man has saved her so that I may look into her beautiful blue eyes! He knows us, trusts us because we know and trust him also. Isn't that the way it is suppose to be? You need a (go-to) person and Dr. Dopf is OURS!

Dr. Dopf performed two separate spinal surgeries on my wife 7 months apart. When friends and associates would ask who was doing her surgery, invariably when I would tell them it was Craig Dopf, they would say in their opinion he is the best in central Wisconsin and our experience reinforced that. He performed a disc laminectomy followed by an anterior lumbar fusion. He's all business, no doubt about it but he and his staff were great.

This doctor was my 82 year old mother's orthopaedic surgeon after she fell and fractured a vertebrae in her neck. It took him over 26 hours to check on my mother in the hospital after the fall. During this time she could not sit up, eat or go to the bathroom because the nurses were waiting for the Doctor's ok. Nursing staff repeatedly paged him and his office with no response. When he finally showed up his excuse was that his pager battery was depleted. He then fitted my mother with a neck brace that was too large causing terrible pain, making it impossible to sleep. She was in this brace for four weeks before his PA saw her. She did not get the brace fitted correctly and at the eight week visit the bone had not made any progress healing. She was finally fitted correctly and had to be in the brace for another six weeks in order for the bone to heal - over twice the amount of time that he originally said it would take the fracture to heal. During this time my parents,… married 42 years, were separated. My mother was confined to an immediate care faciltiy while waiting for the bone to heal. Dr. Dopf and his office were unresponsive and impossible for family, nursing staff, or physical therapists to get on the phone. DO NOT let any loved ones near this guy. He was horrible!
