To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the surgical care I received from Dr. Dayton Opel. Following the procedure, I began experiencing significant complications, including loss of hand function and progressive muscle atrophy in my arm. Subsequent evaluations by other medical professionals have attributed these issues to nerve damage sustained during the surgery. As a result of these complications, I have been advised to undergo additional corrective procedures, including both nerve and tendon graft surgeries. These interventions have been necessary to restore even partial functionality, and I have been informed that my hand may never regain its original strength or dexterity. Despite multiple attempts to contact Dr. Opel to discuss these serious outcomes, I have not received any response. This lack of communication has only added to the distress and frustration caused by this experience.
