Summary
Dr. Craig Colliver received his Bachelor of Science from Duke University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed his surgical residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following his surgical training, he was a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery at the University of North Carolina. He joined Advanced Surgery in 1999. Dr. Colliver is Board Certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been the chief of General Surgery at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Dr. Colliver is experienced in the management of gastrointestinal diseases, breast disease, advanced laparoscopic surgery, gallbladder and hernia surgery, and has been recognized as one of the areas outstanding General Surgeons by the Washingtonian Magazine as well as by the Consumers Checkbook. Dr. Colliver sees patients in our Rockville office.
