Dr. Cynthia Anne Mace-Motta, DO

She is the best.

First of all, I don't enjoy being condescended buy a doctor. I am in the Health and Wellness business, and to be talked to the way that I was was not only embarrassing, but maddening. She seemed rushed and annoyed by my hesitation regarding getting my daughter vaccinated. It felt like we were rushed in and rushed out. The worst part was I was pre-charged for a deductible when the visit was covered 100%. When I discovered what had happened and brought it up upon checkout, I was told it was already coded and couldn't be changed. Whoever scheduled the appointment scheduled it wrong, so what should have been a free visit cost me almost $200. Not going back!

Dr. Mace-Motta has been an excellent obgyn and surgeon. She removed a pelvic mass and extensive endometriosis for me and all I can say is that she has not just heard but listened and acted accordingly. She's professional, kind and the incisions are so clean! I'll have minimal scarring. I found everything I expect from a good doctor and then some. I never felt rushed out of the office. Thank you for your care!

Does not listen to patients. Very very condeecending. Does not thoroughly discuss issues and options to deal with those issues

Worst OBGYN I’ve been to in 40 years! She spends no time with patients and can’t be bothered with questions. Went to her for 4 years for convenience purposes before deciding to switch doctors. Hormone issues? Too bad. You have to bed her repeatedly to test them and then you’ll be put on the wrong meds. She also tried to get me to have an in office surgical procedure and thank god I got a second opinion because I didn’t need it! Her nurses are just as bad and dismissive as she is. Terrible all the way around.

I enjoy going to MacArthur, they make me feel welcome when I walk in and as my visit with my doctor goes on! never had any problems with this center. everything I have been told was always accurate. The staff is very friendly. I wouldn't want to change my doctor even if I had the choice to do so, which I do. I would deffinately recommend to a friend to go!

I tried another gynecologist for 2 years that was closer to my work place but I recently went back to Dr. Mace-Motta. She has such a calming manner and concern for her patients!

Worst doctor I've ever been to. Screwed up my hormones, performed a hysteroscopy that I didn't need, ridiculed and belittled me. Mace-Motta and her entire staff are careless, rude and obnoxious. Find another doctor!

Hears concerns and discusses, kind, patient, seen her for 15 years and both pregnancies.

I rate her low as I went in for a well woman check up and we discussed hormone levels as I had a hysterectomy last year. She coded the visit as a regular visit and refused to recode and resubmit to the insurance company. At check out her nurse even confirmed that there would be no charge since it was a well woman check up. She refused to do any blood work up or even check my hormone levels but was more than willing to prescribe a hormonal supplement. Very poor customer service and communication. I will be looking for another doctor and medical group.
