Dr. Daniel Bernard Barnes

This man needs his medical license revoked. He is rude, condescending, inappropriate, disrespectful and a bully. I went to him as a new patient since my former PCP left my insurance network. He told me 3 times that I had SO many health conditions as if to say he just couldn’t believe it. Then he said “looking at you I never would think you had so many health conditions”. What doctor says that to a patient? I mean what’s the point of telling a patient that other than to make them feel terrible about themself? He actually seemed to enjoy seeing how upset I was. He then looked at a test result in my file and started vigorously shaking his head and waiving his hands as if he saw something in my file that was terribly concerning. I asked him why he was acting like that and he made an excuse and then he apologized and got WAY too close and tried to hold my hands! I backed away and began to cry and he again apologized if he upset me. Do not go to this so called doctor.

Two days before Christmas weekend I was stuck at work trying to get the power on for a family and called doctor Barnes office to reschedule my appt. I even ask if I would get in trouble and was told no so I rescheduled. The day before Christmas eve weekend I received a call from a lady that I don't know saying doctor Barnes no longer wants me as a patient. I ask if he could please give me a call they said they would give him the message, he never called.over the years I have brought doctor Barnes a lot of patients 14 of which are my wife, daughters,son in law,grand kids plus friends since I couldn't get my anti depression meds refilled I spent Christmas in bed in full blown withdraw.after all the years not even a call back. if I had to do it over I still wouldn't leave a family in the dark on Christmas like doctor Barnes did me

A bit hung up on weight, would be a great doctor for totally healthy 30 year old people and under. Must be thin to amaciated or will be told how obese you are. Even if BP and glucose levels are good.

He was a bully and even though I told him I was trying to get my illness under control and the reason I didn't have a job was because they just fired me due to my illness he told me to "get a life". Thanks I just found out I have something that will affect me for the rest of my life and he said that.
