Dr. Daniel E Gutierrez, DO

I had a cervical discetomy with fusion on my C4-C5 and C6- C7. Yes I can agree the staff is not all that and DR. Gutierrez is some what hard. But the day of my surgery he showed lots of compassion and made sure that I was well taken care of. My surgery was a success and I couldn't be happier. And just so people know there isn't much difference from a DO and MD. Of matter of fact DO have 300 to 500 more hours of schooling. I think Dr. Gutierrez might not have the bedside manner that people would like but in my opinion he's an awesome surgeon.

He is an IME. Don't expect same level of care you would receive from your personal doctors.

He is not a DR. He is a DO as in do not waste your time!! Cant even get a real title like a DR. He took the lazy way out is this someone you want cutting on you? Maybe he should go back and become a REAL Doctor!

If you are in need of a neurologist RUN do not Walk away from this man!!!!! His favorite number is 9. He told me & my family 3 years ago that my mom had 9 mos to live. She is still with us, thank God! Since then I have met several other families who had consultations with this physician and they were also given the dreaded 9 month spiel. He is cold and lacks compassion. He describes it as honest and direct and almost celebrates his disgusting bedside manner. Just to give you an idea when he delivered the news of my moms biopsy he said it with a smile and chuckled as he spoke. This man is disgusting and I hope he gets the same treatment when he or is family get terrible news. Karma!!! This site makes me give atleast one star, but i wouldn't put a star next to him if my life depended on it.

I've been in severe pain for months now and on my first visit Dr. Gutierrez spent alot of time listening to all of my symptons including when they all first started. His solutions were backed up by a second opinion I got. He was right on with his diagnosis.

The worst doctor ever, be carefull!!!

I've never been treated so badly by a dr. & his staff. Staff at desk were singing loudly to the radio & talking about how much dancing they were going to do that night, drink Dos Equis beer & patron (tequila), to the point where 1 employee even apologized to me for her co-workers behavior. Dr. Gutierrez was the rudest, coldest, uncaring, incompetent dr. (any type of dr.) I have EVER been to & I've been to over 5 other neurologists w/in the last 5 years & his exam was a joke! Medical Asst. was smacking gum, alternating between staring out the window & glaring at me, during my exam. Incompetent, Rude, Uncaring! If this was only doctor left on Earth, I would not go, & I really mean that! Don't waste your time & money to be treated so rudely with incompetent treatment! HORRIBLE DOCTOR AND STAFF, THE WORST!

I don't know about the other person on here, but my experience was awesome. My surgery was beyond expectations and will refer all of my family to him. I could not have asked for a better outcome.
