The appointment was scheduled with ease. The paperwork was simple, the staff was helpful and prompt. Dr. Hexter went above and beyond to make sure I was treated and all my concerns and alignments were addressed. He took the time to educate me on the causes, symptoms etc instead of prescribing something or referring me to another doctor. Highly recommend this Doctor for your needs.

I went for a consultation and he could not easily determine what the diagnosis was. He sat at his desk with his back to me while he took notes on his computer. He kept asking me if I had any depression. I have no signs of depression and am a very positive person. I had a follow-up appointment in which I let him know new symptoms had appeared. He was just as insulting and dismissive as the first visit. I found another doctor who actually did some testing in an effort to determine what the issues might be. Now I am getting treatment. I fond Dr. Hexter to be arrogant, not brilliant. He could use some humility as well.

Not mentioned in "Vitals" is the all important efficacy of treatment. In my case I consider myself cured; I am able to live a comfortable life without aches and pain. This has lasted for over 2 years. And I have Dr. Hexter to thank for this. In my case, I consider Dr. Hexter an excellent diagnostician and very brilliant medical mind.

I had a mild concussion last year, and suffered with headaches for months. I was taking tons of Advil and Tylenol to try to control them. After I finally got a referral to see a specialist- I made an appointment with Dr. Hexter. He helped me understand that what I was doing by self medicating wasn't the best treatment for my headaches. He made many great suggestions for me in helping to control my headaches and talked with me about medication overuse. I'm not without headaches.....but they have gotten MUCH better. I highly recommend him- and wish I hadn't waited so long to push to see him!

dr. hexter is brilliant. i still have nerve pain, but he has helped me tremendously!

Dr hexter is just "off". I have a brain disorder and rather trying to help me, he wants to pump me full of migraine meds. If your want to be his trial with migraines meds, this is your doctor.

I went to see Dr. Hexter in 2010 after surgery due to nerve damage. He was extremely thorough,he really took his time and listened to me, whereas other doctors always seem to rush me out the door. As someone who is used to waiting to see the doctor sometimes over an hour after scheduled appointment time, he was on time and really cared about me and helping me with my condition. I have continued to see him over the years and he always knows the answers to my questions and I feel I can really trust him with my health. The piece of mind I feel with him as my doctor is priceless.

Dr. Hexter does not followup after visits. I Have 4 yrs. experience as this doc's patient -- He does not return phone calls, he does not set up emergency appointments -- Staff says "he is too busy". During consults he sits with his back to patient to enter computer info. Doctor/client relationship has not been broken either by myself or him but it sure feels like I have no doctor if things go wrong on medication -- and this is serious medication. I have the best insurance available, I have called his office 3x in 4 yrs. Certainly not a nuisance. Well, there is always the ER.
