Dr. Daniel Seth Hurwitz, MD

I had been a patient of Dr. Daniel Hurwitz for over 20 years. Since he joined the Holy Cross Medical Group, his office staff and he changed,unfortunately, not for the better. I am a Medicare patient and went for my yearly wellness visit which is covered by Medicare. Dr. Hurwitz charged me for a regular office visit. At first I thought it was a mistake, but after 3 letters he refused to correct it and kept sending me bills. At this point I felt I couldn't trust him as my personal physician, and I regrettably decided to leave his practice.

Since they joined Holy Cross Medical Group they are now considered an outpatient center and you will be charged twice for visiting this office which they will not tell you. Happened to me twice last year. Now looking for another doctor as I found the fact that I was not told twice rather underhanded. It has always been just a doctors office which suddenly morphed into an outpatient center without any warning

I have been a patent of Dr Danel Hurwitz. For over 15 years. My experience is one of heart felt gratitude for his excellence. Although recently challenged with having to deal with computer in put with patent information he has continued to deliver a calm and warn caring environment. Listening to me for whatever was aleing me is his gift and a speciality I will miss greatly. Having to move out of the area I have to say my greatest challenge was leaving my favorite and most respected doctor. I will miss the comfort of knowing that my doctor was just a call away with an open ear for all of my concerns. Sad to have lost this comfort zone.

Seek anyone else as your primary physician.

This doctor is horrible... He is abrupt, no patience, very hard to talk with.. He's entering information on computer longer then he checks you....The ladies at the front desks are very nasty and uncaring.. A very horrible office., except for the nurse that takes the blood.. Looking for another doctor, immediately..

Called for an appointment and was able to get in the same day, from the person on the phone, to the front desk, and nurse, all very friendly and caring. Dr. Hurwitz was easy to talk to, very caring and compassionate. I hate doctors, and actually look forward to going back!

Been going to Dr. Hurwitz for years. Has always been professional. No problem getting in when your sick or need to see him. Front Office staff could be a bit nicer.
