We were so worried about our 14-year-old daughter losing touch with us. She was depressed and we could not see it. She was very challenging and asking for criticism and we were giving it. Dr. Schechter was very understanding. He helped her and us by taking her point of view, showing interest in what she needed to say and not what we wanted to hear.

I knew my young son was going through something but didn't know what. Dr. Schechter listened really carefully and helped my son express what he was feeling in words, play and drawing and then helped me understand what was going on for him and for us in our relationship.

So many differenet strains do so many different things, it's nice to know that I'm in Good, Experianced hands of a Dr. who upholds his Oath to Help People instead of trying to fill them full of pills. He Genuinely cares about his Patient, not Profits. Refreshing!

He's attentive and inquisitive, seems like a stickler for details and has follow ups which shows he cares.

Really listens. Flexible and thoughtful. Worked easily with me an my husband with my toddler making lots of noise...and then able to calmly help my son...a model for multitasking
