Dr. Daniel S Zipin, DO

After explaining what I was experiencing I tried to show him exactly where the pain was but he didn't even examine my back or pay attention. His MO seems to be MRI then back injections and doesn't have anything else to offer. He showed no real concern. I went that route at the time but have since jumped ship for another provider with a broader view of treatment and a more caring approach. I don't feel as though I can recommend him.

Never met anybody like him even though he's a specialty doctor I went to him to find out why my herniated disc hurt more than ever and I wanted to know if I had our osteoarthritis in my back and I do but that's not the point the point is I felt pegged as soon as he walked in the office he looked very judgemental his bedside manner sucked and he also made me out to be a liar on how much pain I was feeling who the heck is he to say how much pain I'm feeling that you shouldn't be in that much pain well I do feel that much pain and I have been all my life so I think I need a new doctor I think he's a very bad doctor also I felt as if he thought I was a drug seeker and I'm not I'm happy taking my own ibuprofen, and also he did not even show me the x-rays all he did was turn them on and then turn them off that's all I saw didn't give me a chance to tell him about my two herniated disc in my lower ,back or even to check my upper back in my Osteo arthritis in my neck if it got worse so screwed… that I'm going to another doctor

He has treated me for a cervical spine injury for about five years and has injected my spine three times. He has a calm, confident demeanor and truly cares for his patients.

Would recommend him to anyone. He spent several months talking with me and then performed a thorough examination. Afterwards he discussed his thoughts on my problem and then laid out a plan.

I had a specific localized pain that he did not address. He was much more into xrays and MRI's and their results that were unrelated to my injury. I work full time and am a senior citizen. He intimated at least 3 times that I was trying to get time off from work which I NEVER did ask or hint at. I was insulted by this as during this injury I have been at work every day.
