This doctor has terrible bedside manner!! My daughter stated this is the worst doctor she's ever encountered, and being astmatic since she was 3, she's seen her fair share of doctor's. And, I can say, that given the current circumstances, I agree. Danielle Hirsch did not listen to her teenage patient and sent her into cardiac arrest!!! My 15yr old daughter went to the emergency room (with her father) due to a reoccurring fever and vomiting. She is asthmatic and had been battling a respiratory infection. My daughter just went in to make sure she didn't have the flu or Covid (her pc didn't have any appointments for the day). First, Danielle Hirsch was rude and accused my daughter of not taking/completing her nebulizer treatment. This was baffling to my daughter because she did complete it. My daughter then expressed rapid heart rate concerns and heavy chest, which Danielle Hirsch ignored and ordered for her to do another treatment anyway. Hirsch then ordered a hospital employee to sit… in the room to make sure she completed yet another nebulaizer treatment. My daughter's heart rate began to soar to a rapid grave level of 240bpm!! All of the staff rushed into my daughter's room because she almost died!! Insane!!! Long story short my daughter was transported up to the ICU, where she currently is (night 2). My daughter was in much better condition before coming to this hospital for Danielle Hirsch to make a very bad decision and bark orders at her. This doctor failed to listen to her patient, my daughter, about her own body and how she was feeling. Danielle Hirsch failed to provide compassionate care and my daughter is currently hooked up to machines incapable of talking, eating or drinking because this doctor didn't stop to listen to her patient. Sadly, she did not apologize to her for not listening to her and creating/escalating this traumatic ICU stint. You are not God Danielle Hirsch, you seem to need some humbling! I'm sure you're used to telling everyone what to do without rebuttal, but that type of demeanor and attitude is NOT what a good Doctor and Leader is made of!! You failed your adolescent patient by something as simple as NOT listening, Shame on you Danielle Hirsch!!!

I brought my infant in due to dehydration from slow milk production. Hirsch ordered every test and went to the extreme in treating my son, because she felt he had an infection, even though he did not display any infection symptoms. My son suffered unnecessary tests, unnecessary antibiotics in his small newborn body because of this lady's poor decision. He was only dehydrated. The anger I feel is undescribeable. I pray no one else has to endure her bad decision making and she reaps what she sows...
