I never leave reviews but I wanted to take the time to share my experience in hopes that I can help someone who is hesitant about going to therapy like I was. You see I am a very private person and have always struggled with trusting people. It is difficult for me to let my guard down, especially when it comes to asking for help no matter how bad I may need it. Then A few years ago I was at a very low point in my life, I didn’t know what to do or how to deal with what I was feeling. It got to the point where I stopped caring about anything and gave up on the belief that I could ever be happy. For months a good friend of mine kept pushing me to seek help, until I finally gave in because I figured I had nothing else to lose. Although, I was still extremely skeptical and had gone in with the notion that therapy was not going to help me, and was just a waste of time. But I am happy to say that I was wrong. Seeing Dr. Donnelly has been the best decision I have ever made! Not only did she… help me through an extremely difficult time in my life, she helped me understand and cope with constant feelings of anxiety and depression. She is very passionate about her job, and genuinely cares and puts her whole heart into helping people. She always listens, never judges, and never gives up until she finds a solution that works for you. Her wealth of knowledge and ability to understand and connect with people is not something that is easy to come across. Dr. Donnelly a caring and knowledgable therapist. It is unfortunate that people can come on site like this who may not even have been patients or have a borderline personality disorder.

I came in for help managing anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Saying Darcy was unhelpful would be a vast understatement -- she was rather destructive, making snarky comments and at times being openly rude. I will say, however, that she is very good at reciting cliched stock answers from memory for extremely general problems. Ask for help with anything more particular and she flounders. In summary, go elsewhere.
