Summary
I grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and became a Texas Aggie, graduating with a degree in chemistry from Texas A&M University. While in medical school in Houston, I met my husband-to-be and we decided that we would like to continue our training in the East. Since his urology training program was longer than mine, I finished my residency and worked at the Boston Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic and then for an ambulatory clinic in Boston called Health Stop. We tired of the snow and moved west to California. We lived and worked in California for a year but then relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas, where we were both in private practice for three years. We missed the weather and the beauty of California, so we moved back here in 1989 and have enjoyed being here since. Our children were born here. I enjoy working with the Girl Scouts and supporting Esperanza High School's basketball team as a booster.
