He and his office are there for a paycheck! Never a call back . They have you fill out a book of questions about you and then after waiting 1.5 hours to see him he asks all kinds of unimportant questions and then he barely listens. He gave me a minute to explain my situation before he was out the door. I’m so relieved that I found a real pulmonologist and we will leave this waste for the people who don’t do their homework. He’s like a legal predator. He could really hurt you so pick wisely. You have been told my truth!

The office is nasty all of them! They don’t ever call you back ! If you try and speak with the doc during an office visit he barely listens and maybe spends 2 minutes and then he thinks he has solved it! Your better off not going it’s a waste of your intelligence! I could die with my disease and he was only about the money! I blame my primary also for sending me to a quack! They probably have a $$ incentive! I have found a caring pulmonologist and oh my what a difference! Don’t be afraid to push back on your primary it’s your life! I got a new primary also and things are so much better! It’s about your life don’t allow quacks to get rich on your sickness without them getting what they have sworn to do! Treat you with quality like they want for there family. Time for Derwin to rethink his career choice or rise to the occasion!

Warm, listens isn't condescending, hears what you are saying and really has a great bedside manner. Plus he's gorgeous. Staff is great.

He's a caring doctor with a great bedside manner

This "doctor" sent me home with "you've just got a cold" when, in fact, I had a lung infection - all symptoms were visible when I visited, but it seemed he didn't want to deal with me or my illness. A large % of his staff is just plain rude and/or weird. Horrible experience for an established patient. Won't ever consider going back.

I am in the medical field and went in with a family member to help them get some answers with their problems. I found the doctor a little condescending and not take the patients complaints seriously. He did not know what to do to treat this patient and requested a follow up study that wasted everyone's time and was not followed through properly by the office staff. I would do my homework before seeing this dr. Good luck. Signed a professional who cares about people

This doctor has the old bedside manner which is so lost today in the medical field BUT he brings it back, talks to the individual, answers any questions, does not rush, listens to the patient and knows his patient as an individual not a heard or just a social security number walking in, always a smile, a hand shake and your name addressed.

Staff is very professional and friendly.

Dr. Hoffberger is terrific. He takes what I have to say with seriousness and genuine concern. He works hard to make sure I can breath!
