Stay away from this man. He will do everything he can to push you through your appointment and be as arrogant as possible while doing it. Run if he is your doc

I went in for a surgery consult came out in the worst pain ever. No solution was made nor was surgery scheduled. Very rushed appointment talked more about my tattoos then what could be done for my wrists.

2 minutes ago Our appointment with Dr Gesensway was running 30 minutes behind schedule. When we finally did get in to see him he was rushed and unapproachable. He told us the xrays on my son’s broken wrist from the er were too blurry to read. Rather than take the time to get clear xrays - Dr Gesensway scheduled us for surgery. Thank God we got a second opinion!! Our son went to the U of MN- had a closed reduction - and is back to new with no surgery/plates needed. Please think twice before seeing Dr Gesensway. He does not seem to have the patients best interest in mind and has a very uncomfortable bedside manner. Dr Gesensway was incredibly condescending and rude throughout our consult. When questioned on potential recovery time he mocked me and our sport. Please think twice before seeing Dr Gesensway. We consulted a second opinion two days after Dr Gesensway scheduled our surgery and was told by both the orthopedic hand specialist and resident that it was not a surgical case. Now, 8… weeks later with no surgery and no complications our son has full use of his wrist. Dr Gesensway is lazy (no extra xrays) and rude.

Dr. G spent almost an hour with me, was extremely thorough, explained everything in great detail. 5 stars! The office staff were also terrific.

I am so appreciative of Dr. Gesensway's care in treating the multiple fractures I sustained with a trip and fall accident. He is so congenial! He gave easy explanations of treatment options and self care, and made the entire experience delightful! Dr. Gesensway is an expert in the field! I am grateful to have him as my doctor!

Very satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Gesensway and all of his staff. They listen to everything you tell them and try to help in any way they can. It's wonderful to be able to go to a doctors office knowing that the experience is going to be a pleasant one. And besides that, he has a fun sense of humor and makes it a joy to be there. Thank you everyone for the stellar care I received.

I have seen Dr Gesensway a few times over the last few years do to a serious and permanent injury to my dominate hand/wrist. The first thing the doctor says to me is "What are you doing here". Wait, What?! I don't know if this is his weird sense of humor or something else. I do not fine my newly acquired disability humorous in any way. If Dr Gesensway had my hand/wrist it would be impossible for him to do his job, so I'm not sure why he thinks my injury is so funny. I will not return. I prefer my physicians to a some sense of professionalism, at least while in front of a paying patient.
