Dr Hallegua is very patient and takes his time with his patients and explains very thoroughly. Gives you your treatment options and diagnoses very well

First off the front office is awful and doesn’t keep good records. (Maria- ugh) This doctor sent out letters saying just to stay a patient you have to pay $200 upfront. Then if you want “special” treatment you pay an extra $1000. “Special” treatment? Ok Conrad Murray... pick another rheumatologist and use your $1200 for something else. The doctor won’t even be available to you since he is ALWAYS visiting another country.

This Doctor is unethical. He puts all of his patients on Paquinil in order to advance his research, regardless of their heath issues or symptoms or treatment options. Worse, if he finds test results that would suggest the patient benefit more from seeing another practitioner, such as in my case, where I needed an endocrinologist, not a rheumatologist, he doesn’t tell him. This unbelievable jerk sat on blood tests from me that said I was having a major issue with something outside his field for a full year while he continued to see what the Paquinil was doing, all the while letting my health decline. This Doctor should be locked up. To make matters worse still, I recently called his office to track down old records and his equally unethical assistant told me I needed to set another appointment with him first. Is she out of her freaking mind? Go anywhere but here, I tell you. It’s unbelievable.

I have multiple health problems. Without Dr. Hallegua's excellent care and kind compassion I would not have any quality of life to mention. He is always ready to listen. He is a wondeful diagnostician and physician. I thank God for bringing Dr. Hallegua into my life.

he gets one star because it's the only way to post on this site otherwise he'd get no star. he doesn't know what he's doing or what he's talking about. he's got a miserable disposition to top it off.

Dr Hallegua, is a great doctor, compasionate, and with a lot of knowledge. He is been there always, I just thank God for his help

Dr. Hallegua has been my doctor for 3+ years and is the best regular doctor I have ever had and am 47 now. He is compassionate, creative and knows medication better than any doctor. He is exceptional at listening, examining and making time for each patient. When I was hospitalized for spine surgery, Dr. Hallegua saw me everyday, answered all calls for medication changes and he was NOT the admitting doctor or my surgeon. In addition to all of this, I have had the same excellent experience with near every referral he has given when I need care from another specialist. I recommend him to all my friends.

Dr. Hallegua is a knowledgeable, kind and caring doctor. He is not an alarmist. He listens to what you are saying. He actually listens. He cares. I am lucky to have him as my doctor.

Dr. David Hallegua is being the one component to saving my daughters life. My little girl at the age of 7 started getting very sick, and has been to numerous doctors and hospitals. Finally a doctor who is doing everything he can to save my daughters life which is totally in his and God's hands at this very moment. He never gives up and through many tests and a great deal of compassion my little girl just may have a chance. Unfortunately, there are not more doctors like him in the world! The others we have seen from one end of California to the other have given up on her, but not Dr. Hallegua.
