I always have a good visit when I see Dr. Harris.. I feel privileged just to be a be of his patients. Equipped with a staff overflowing with courtesy and professionalism. They are to be commended. I honestly don’t think I could get any better care anywhere else

Dr. Harris, Jr, and his staff are all professional and attentive. The only issue I have is the ridiculously long wait to see the doctor after checking in. I waited for 2+ hours for a 10 minute consultation.

Dr Harris is the very best! My initial cataract surgery had complications and the surgeon told me he had a guy that could help. That guy was Dr. Harris and his work is phenomenal. I can't thank him enough for all that he has done to save and restore my vision.

Dr. David Harris did both mine and my husband‘s cataract surgeries. My husband was in today for his one year postop and is seeing 20/20.. His main issue is that he has diabetes, which can adversely affect vision. But my husband is doing great. When Dr Harris did my cataract surgery, I had Fuch’s endothelial dystrophy, extreme nearsightedness with prior Lasik correction, and a tear in one of my retinas, so it took me quite an extended time to return to normal. Dr. Harris was always pleasant and calming. I was really scared about having cataract surgery and put it off so long that I could barely see, but Dr Harris’ confidence and his many years of experience gave me the peace to go through it like a champ!

I just went through this 2025 year having both eye done with, Corneal Transplants with Doctor David Harris. I have Fuch’s Dystrophy and was losing my vision… Doctor Harris is the most compassionate, kind and patient Doctor I’ve ever known. I never left his office with a doubt in my mind that everything was discussed and brought to the table and resolved. I’m so richly blessed and thankful to have Doctor Harris as my Corneal Specialist Surgeon. My eyes are doing as expected and I’m a happy patient. Lea

Best eye surgeon! He is AMAZING. Very calm demeanor. His wait time for appointments is crazy long BUT just have the mindset he is worth the wait, he travels ALL around TN so patients don’t have to drive to Knoxville.
