I wish I could leave 10 stars ! What more can you say about this wonderful person. Dr. Koota is just amazing he has operated on my mother twice once in 2019 and then in 2023. His compassion and expertise is just phenomenal ! He walks you through what he will be doing during your procedure and he always follows up after to make sure that all is ok. When my mother was in hospital not only him but his partners Dr. Feder and Dr. Boateng came to check in as well. I recommend him and this practice to everyone.

Dr Koota walked me thru Bladder cancer and from day one was on the mark. He was always there to see me when I had or imagined problems. He has the patience of a saint. I am NED for 16 months.

I had to stop using this Dr because the office staff and Billing Dept was incapable of coordinating my Insurance benefits with needed services being ordered by Dr. Koota. They did not get pre authorization or even check what Lab was covered before sending out my lab work. I am now stuck with a $760 bill for bloodwork that was a covered service by my insurance company, but denied because Dr. Koota's office sent it to an out of Network Lab. I was told to come in for a biopsy, but not promised if it would be covered by my insurance. My insurance told me they did cover biopys but they needed diagnosis code and biopsy code and type to confirm that it would be fully covered. My insurance was unable to reach a human voice other than answering machine for days when trying to contact the Dr's office.

I took my aide with me to my appt. with Dr. Koota. While I was on the examination table, the doctor asked to meet with my aide in the hallway. I am paralyzed from the waist down and thus was unable to follow them. I became so upset and told him that it wasn't fair...I had every right to know what was being discussed about me and my treatment. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I have been going to Dr Koota for years. He’s a caring & knowledgeable. I have referred many people to Dr Koota. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a urologist.

Dr. Koota is an amazing, professional and caring individual. From my first appointment throughout my entire surgery process, he and his staff have been extremely comforting and knowledgeable every step of the way. Dr. Koota has a wonderful bed side manner which only eased my nerves and helped me feel confident that I was in great hands. Mary, his nurse, is so friendly and comforting during the follow up process. She is truly amazing and understood my pain and explained the following events like a wonderful friend. I am so very lucky to have such a terrific group of people take care of me during this difficult time. I recommend Dr. Koota, his staff and St. Peter’s Hospital to everyone in need of a urologist.
