Dr. David Lawson Eakes, MD

Dr. Eakes is highly professional, very knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful. My daughter had a nightmare experience the night before at the ER. She had a first time seizure and was terrified. She was mistreated. She was treated as if she were pretending. She was trying to clear accumulated drainage in her throat and a nurse talked loud and sharp "We don't like to be spit on!" I stood there watching my daughter choke and cry while the nurse accused her. was in shock at the whole experience. She had a seizure in the triage room. It was awful. They released her with no help. She had a seizure the next day. We were back at the ER. Dr. David Eakes helped my daughter. It was a night and day experience. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. He listened to my daughter and he listened to my observations. He put her on an anticonvulsant. She hasn't had a seizure since. I thank God for him. We are waiting to see a neurologist. Thank God for Dr. Eakes!
