Dr. David Howard Oelsner, MD

I suffered for 1.5 years, took unnecessary treatment with dangerous side effects and spent about $5000 more than needed due to his negligence. Run away!

I made an appointment with Dr. Oelsner's office two months ago. I showed up for the appointment (1 month ago) and discovered that he wasn't even in town. So they made another appointment for me today. (Nov 7th, 2019) I showed up extra early (30 min before) to handle insurance, copay and forms and hopefully expedite things. Still, I was kept waiting well past the appointment time. At 17 minutes a couple asked whom I was there to see. They were there to see the same doctor at the same time, and they were frustrated too. I was called back at 19 minutes past. And then sat around in a room until 40 minutes past the time of my appointment -- I had simply been relocated - at which point I walked out to the office and told them I needed to go and pick up my daughter. I called their billing department after I left, and they gave me difficulty with refunding my copay and not billing my insurance. I had received no medical care. I had to tell them I would be happy to dispute any… charges to my insurance/bank as fraudulent. Things happen. You do get behind sometimes. I get it - I'm a Nurse myself. But they have a fairly draconian cancellation/lateness policy themselves. And they didn't do anything to mitigate this situation, like communicating with their customers ahead of time, or while there was an issue. Probably hoping it just wouldn't become a problem for them and the customers would suck it up.

I had been to many Doctors about stomach issues and I was becoming discouraged... It was Dr. Oelsner that FINALLY found what my issue was and he cured it. I am so Thankful for his care and that he ran the tests that all the other Doctors didn't. Thats how he found what I had. He went the extra mile for me as the patient. I feel GREAT. Thanks to him.

I was extremely satisfied with my initial visit with Dr. Oelsner.
