Dr. David Mark Perim, MD

I started with Dr Perim in 2012 for C-Spine surgery and the surgery was an success. The Quality of my interaction with staff was like dealing with loving family members but doing their job with professionalism, courteous and a willing help me to be comfortable see a doctor about my serious health problem. All went well with my surgery then in 2015 surgery on my lumbar and that was another successful surgery so yes I will continue to go to Dr Perim. Recently I had surgery in 2021 again on my lumbar due to a fall and also from the same fall he also did another C-Spine in two region in 2022 so yes I put my life in his hands because I am there for the best doctor to help me. As far as staff with attitude in the past that is an individual thing which I did not see. I recommend The Skills of Dr David Perim and his ability to help those who are trying to help themselves.

I was referred to Dr. Perim by my orthopedic doctor. I arrived at the Rockville office and was kindly greeted by the receptionist. She let me know that there were three patients ahead of me. I waited for about 20 minutes and was called into a room by a polite nurse. She asked me detailed questions and she uploaded my MRI. The doctor arrived soon after. He explained everything I needed to know and he gave me a plan to help ease the pain that I have been dealing with. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I will always return to this wonderful doctor. I am so lucky to have found this conscientious physician.

Dr. Perim is a professional yet friendly doctor. The nurses who worked closely with him are great; courteous and thoughtful. But the Latina receptionist in the Silver Spring location when I visited on 13 Feb 2019 was quite rude; that was my first. Other than that, I would use his services again.

He knows nothing. You wait 2 hours to see him and then he rushes to see you and provides no good explanation of the symptoms I experienced. Avoid if you can! I will not go back to him

He was very good in addressing my medical issues. I found him very professional and attentive when seeing me. I would not hesitate to see him again. He just needs to smile more.

Dr. Perim and I have been through a lot over the past 10 years. He has performed surgery on my back (herniated disc), on my shoulder (shoulder impingement), and most recently on my knee (torn miniscus). He has a friendly bedside manner and fully explains every procedure at each step along the way. I have recovered easily from each procedure, with no post-surgery issues whatsoever and have very tiny scars to boot. I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else for orthopaedic problems.

This doctor told me to take a bottle of Tylenol and I would be better. Because of this insane diagnosis I went somewhere else. I ended up needing ALIF surgery on the L4 and L5. I now am in pain management and awaiting a spinal cord simulator. This man is a joke and is dangerous. I never had such a bad experience with a so called professional. I have shared my story with everyone including the doctors and surgeons who see me now. Some have said they have heard questionable things about Perim. I normally don't write reviews but this was so bad I had to. None of this has been exaggerated. Stay away from him. I would give zeros if possible. I have also reported him to the proper organizations.
