Dr. David Edward Perloff, MD

I have been a Workers Compensation patient of Dr. Perloff for 13+ years now; he was my third Cardiologist and by far the best! He is caring and very knowledgeable as is Laurie his PA. I see them every six months and when needed they adjust my medications and offer recommendations for my Endocrinologist as far as Cholesterol and Triglyceride issues. They are not at all hesitant to order diagnostic tests when needed and always err on the side of caution. I hope he doesn't retire before I expire! :)

One would think by the great reviews Dr Perloff iss a great doctor. However, skip the almost daily, sometimes multiple reviews per day in late 2018 and into 2019, then the deluge seems to stop and the reviews get decidedly worst. This is your everyday cardiologist. You’ll be lucky if you ever see him, he will quickly hand you over to his RN's. Maybe typical in today's medicine, not sure, I have 4 other doctors and I consistently see them, not assistants. Another issue is running in time. Showing up a 1/2 hour late works fine.

As a worker's comp doctor, he is the worst I have ever encounter. If I could give zero stars, I would. I only visit his office a few times...not by choice. On the 1st visit that I had with Dr Perloff was when I advised him that certain medication that was previously prescribed to me by other doctors gave me an allergic reaction. When I had explained my symptoms and other concerns, he would disregard them. He told me that it was not the medication that was the problem, but it was me and he didn't believe that all the listed medication I have mention could realistically cause me to have a reaction. He caused my claim to be denied by worker's comp after only visiting him 2x. He claimed I didn't have high blood pressure; despite my 2+ years of medical history battling with high blood pressure. I would not recommend this cardiologist to anyone. I prefer to have a doctor that actually cares about my well-being and not the money he makes from seeing me as a worker's comp patient.

Dr. David Perloff is the most arrogant and condescending doctor I've ever seen, he makes it a point to belittle me every chance he gets. Dr. Perloff told me and a Neurologist over the phone that my BP of 165/103 was normal and nothing to worry about. Dr. Perloff prescribed blood pressure meds 6 months ago. He started me on Metoprolol at a low dose and immediately I started having mild dizzy spells and when he went up on the dose my symptoms got worse. He has put me through a barrage of tests and still he cannot tell me why I'm having severe dizzy spells and at this point he doesn't even care. So I Googled the medicine he has me on and come to find out the main and first side affect is dizziness and lightheadedness. There is so much I can say about this doctor but I'm going to bore you so I'll spread it apart.

First time at this office and what a wonderful experience. Dr. Perloff was gracious and thorough during my consult. The staff was friendly and polite. From the front to the back office everyone was great! The interaction between staff and management was professional but warm and kind. I applaud this office it was a true pleasure.

The only Cardiologist that has been able to keep me stable since I began my Hart problem

Thankful to have found such a great doctor. Dr.Perloff is so knowledgeable and educates you on what’s going on and why. Very thorough. The staff is excellent and sweet.
