Dr. David Paul Rowell, MD

A superb surgeon. The first time I needed cataract surgery, I was advised that the top two specialists on the West Coast were Dr. Rowell and another surgeon in Los Angeles. I chose Dr. Rowell, and traveled to Salem to see him. I could not be more happy with that choice, and returned for the second eye two years later. The quality of care, by him and by all of his staff, was simply superb. He was kind enough to give me videos of both surgeries, and each time the evening of the surgery I was able to see what he had done -- and the precision of his work was breathtaking. One of the best physicians I have ever encountered, and in 80 years of dealing with them professionally that's saying something.

Don't like this guy at all, he had someone else do my exam and he has absolutely no personality. When I wanted to see another doctor in the group he refused to allow me. I suggest going elsewhere. Plus they were very expensive!

The staff is very friendly, and explain the procedures that they are doing.
