DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR . I saw Dr Kim on Nov 27 for a retinal hemorrhage . HE DID NOT TREAT ME : he did nothing to help me with my retinal hemorrhage. He told me to come back in 2 weeks . On Nov 27 , I could still see: 2 weeks later, the hemorrhage had gotten much worse and I could no longer see . WHY DID DR KIM do nothing to help me? He told me to take baby aspirin..... Losing my vision is the worst thing that has ever happened to me . Dr Kim is a negligent doctor . He could have helped me. There are treatments for retinal hemorrhage .

Dr. Kim in West Hills office represents seniors with macular degeneration, among other eye diseases.. His office is always busy because there are too many seniors that live in that area that needs a specialist in his field that can help them from going blind. His forte is understanding macular degeneration and how to treat it to prevent further blindness to the eye with injections. Keep in mind that macular degeneration is an eye disease that cannot be cured but can prevent the eyes from getting worst. Before blaming the doctor for so many people that need a good doctor, let's be grateful that we have a doctor that can help us not go blind even though the waiting time in his office can be long..Dr. Kim is a good doctor and is happy to help so many people with this disease.

OVERBOOKS! Doctor's bedside manner is abrupt, and he doesn't spend enough time with patient to fully explain procedures/side effects or allow time for questions. Last lobby wait was 1-1/2 hrs. Emergencies happen, but there is NO EXCUSE for this kind of wait. Simple solution: 60+ minutes behind-Call patient to come later or reschedule; 30-60 mins.-Tell patient when he comes in that they're running behind. EVERYONE'S time is valuable and should be respected. Staff is nice and courteous.

I just don't understand the previous review of Dr. Kim. I was there the second time to day and it's a wonderful place. Dr. Kim and his staff are great people, very kind, caring and interested in your well being.. I will give them a 5 star rating.

Astonishingly rude. Physically rough! One-way communication. Completely misdiagnosed a disease that was not even there.
