Dr. David Weisman, MD

I only have words of thanks to Dr. Weisman, I met him 9 months ago when my daughter Chloe G. was only 2 weeks old and her pediatrician diagnosed her with a possible congenital dislocation of the left hip and referred her to an orthopedist. , Dr. Weisman, the doctor attended us in a very professional manner and always speaking the truth of his diagnosis, this doctor is not one of warm water cloths, he always gives a true diagnosis, even if it is painful for a mother of a newborn, as it was the hip dysplasia of my 2-week-old baby, Dr. Weisman does not give diagnoses just so that the family is calm, he always expresses the situation as it is, there are difficult days there are happy days, but I always found a true diagnosis, to date we have 9 months in this arduous process accompanied by Dr. Weisman, between ultrasounds, x-rays, orthopedic devices, this great professional has made my baby Chloe take her first steps without any problem, my daughter no longer uses any orthopedic device, we… only have controls every 6 months and everything is fine. I can only say thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. don't let a first impression or a long wait for the doctor to see your patient put you off, this doctor is an excellent professional.

If you care at all about your child, or about being respected as a human being, please do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor’s office at all costs. I took my 23-month-old for a consult regarding hip dysplasia related to a preexisting condition. She was referred by another doctor of hers. Upon arriving 10 minutes early (11:20AM for an 11:30AM appointment), as requested by the office, I saw a relatively full waiting room. As I was checking in, another parent with an infant interrupted to ask how much longer they’d be waiting, as she’d been waiting a half hour already. I sympathized with the receptionist for having to receive the brunt of the frustration from patients. I geared myself up for a lengthy wait. I did not expect that my daughter and I would still be in the waiting room at 12:10PM. After finally being called into a room, the nurse quickly tapped some keys on the keyboard, asked me one question, and walked out of the room. She made no attempt to engage with my daughter who… had already been waiting more than 45 minutes, or to politely chit-chat with me for a moment. Five minutes later, she burst back into the room and asked, “has she ever been diagnosed with X?” I replied, “yes”, and she walked out of the room and closed the door. I assumed that the doctor’s office was aware of my daughter’s diagnosis given the fact that I said it over the phone and filled it out on their patient portal on more than one of the documents. I began to feel as though my daughter and I were being completely disrespected. We’d been waiting an hour at this point, with no doctor in sight, and no explanation from the hasty nurse about her question. After an hour of waiting, I decided that I would no longer allow my daughter to be disrespected this way. I walked to reception and asked for my co-pay back. The receptionists apologized profusely, and I assured them that it wasn’t their fault. It seemed as though one of them hadn’t even had a chance to take a lunch break because the doctors were so behind. Unfortunately, I think these doctors fail to realize that young children are on schedules and have limited capacity for waiting, especially for things they’re already nervous about. My daughter sees many doctors and therapists on a regular basis and we have never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for an appointment, even among some of the most well-respected doctors on the east coast. Please have some consideration for your child when choosing an orthopedic surgeon, and find someone who doesn’t work in this office.

Not to be trusted. Went with a buckle fracture for my kid (with an xray from urgent care in hand). All he did was check the xray and gave a readymade splint. I get a bill with $947 charge for a surgery/POP procedure in addition to the office consultation and splint bills. Billing queries are a joke with these guys as no-one responds. Please avoid there are a lot of honest physicians around.

I took my child to see him on another matter and asked about my childs flat feet as well, since they were hurting. He said after xrays just buy inserts at walmart. Well, 2 years later I have a podiatrist SCREAM at me for not getting my child help sooner. Um, I did? Going to a foot/ankle surgeon in difffrent hosp now. THANKS.

He was not able to answer all my questions. He did not satisfy me with accurate answers. Doctors should have a humble tone so patients can be comfortable with him/her. NeXT time I will not go to him even I am offered free visit.
