Dr. David Smotkin, MD

Dr. Smotkin may not be chatty ..he is not a social personality..but he is a wonderful surgeon who saved my life. After my diagnosis of ovarian cancer ..stage 2 phase 3 , he told me i would have 10 years..I am going on 15 years and am forever grateful to this man who has few social skills but is a fabulous surgeon.

Dr Smotkin is a wonderful doctor. I'm saddened by the horrible reviews that I have read. He is not the worst human being. Yes, he is quick with his time with you, but you receive the necessary information and care that you need. I have been his patient for 4 years and have always received the best care. Thank you Dr. Smotkin for everything.

This doctor doesn't explain much. Being in shock with being told you have cancer I really didn't know what to ask or what to expect. With all the years of experience and knowledge he has, I would expect an expert to give information on expectations and the possible feelings one might have after having had surgery. I would think that you would automatically tell the patient what kind of cancer they have or what stage it's in but no that didn't happen.

He is the worst Doctor ever. This man is not professional as a medical doctor and as a person. His bedside manners were terrible. As an ob/gyn doctor with Cancer patients he was so cold and rudely to answer questions... I never felt so discriminated by a so called professional. I just hope GGod have mercy for his soul

I feel so sad and won't forgive myself of been treated by Dr smotkin. told him many time i don't feel good . He only care on not to give me more time from work. not everybody is the same,some people needs more time to recovery. need to learn how to listen and understand individual
