Dr. David A. Staffenberg, MD

I came to this doctor for a medically necessary procedure on my nose so I can breathe. I was told insurance would cover it MULTIPLE TIMES so I jumped through all the hoops they needed to get surgery. It is now 2 weeks before my surgery and the doctor “decided there was a cosmetic component” and now wants $10 grand UPFRONT for surgery. NO PART OF THIS IS COSMETIC. It is so that I can BREATHE. This office is trash. The doctor is a liar. GO NOT GO HERE!!!

He cut me up pretty bad as a kid and he never even prescribed me painkillers or apologized. He just made me do more surgeries that made the pain worse, lying that it would actually make the pain go away. He never even told my parents to see a neurologist, they should've realized he was a hack.

Dr. Staffenberg performed a very complicated procedure on me that takes an extensive amount of experience to get right. I could not be happier with the results, and in addition to being an excellent plastic surgeon, he has great interpersonal skills and made me feel very comfortable as a patient.

My husband and I highly recommend Dr. David Staffenberg. Our son recently had a large mole removed from his face by Dr. Staffenberg. We were concerned about scarring on his cheek from the removal, but Dr. Staffenberg did an excellent job with the incision and the scar should heal completely within a year and be unnoticeable. We are amazed by his talent and highly recommend him. His team is so professional and kind. My five year old son loved them all and felt at ease during the entire process. Dr. Staffenberg is a brilliant surgeon, and we are so grateful that we found him.

David Staffenberg caused me several chronic illnesses during my treatment as a clef-palate patient. He always promised me that the scars he caused could be healed. However when the time came this turned out to be false, among other side effects that he claimed would heal with time such as shortness of breath and nose bleeds.

I work in the healthcare and therefore thoroughly consider who I choose for any care or procedure. Dr. Staffenberg was my number one choice to have my cleft lip fixed. He is passionate about his career and is extremely attentive to detail. He is also an extremely genuine person and really cares about the people he operates on. I highly recommend him if you want someone who is focused on quality, safety and overall patient experience. My result was exceptional! Thank you!

I will forever be grateful to Dr Staffenberg - he is an exceptional doctor and a brilliant human being. He treated my baby daughter for craniosynostosis. Dr Staffenberg's clinical excellence is well-known, but what amazed me for a star surgeon was his humility, openness and patience. He was the most responsive doctor I have ever encountered, going significantly above and beyond the call of duty to help us make our decision about the correct course of treatment, which was complicated by our family moving to the UK shortly after surgery. He gave us way more of his time than he needed to, answering our ever-growing list of questions in his office and by phone and email. Dr Staffenberg made us feel like our baby's life was of the utmost importance to him - and he is very good at knowing exactly what you're going through as a parent. I think it helps that he clearly is such a nice man - he simply cares about people. In our case, Dr Staffenberg worked closely with Dr David Harter… (neurosurgeon). The work very well together as a team (no lack of communication, as with some other multidisciplinary medical teams). The pair of them are simply the best doctors I have ever come across.
