Dr. David Weintritt, MD, FACS

I would not recommend Dr. Weintritt, not even to those like myself who are dying. Dr. Weintritt will cherry pick patients, have his staff tell lie after lie and pass along terrible advice to make it appear as if they are somehow 'helping' you. I'm dying because of negligent doctors like Dr. Weintritt and his irresponsible staff.

After thorough research I choose Dr. David Weintritt as my new breast cancer specialist/surgeon and I couldn’t be more grateful to him. The previous year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a lumpectomy and associated lift at a different practice that resulted in severe pain (where the underarm lymph nodes were removed for testing the tissue was pinned/pleated upwards and attached to a muscle & chest wall which reduced mobility that two different reconstruction plastic surgeons I met with said was too complicated to fix) and deformity (the breast lift that was performed at the same time split open immediately afterwards that was unsightly). I waited the following year after completing my annual mammogram to first see Dr. Weintritt. During that visit he was patient, thorough with my annual examination, and compassionate. He later masterfully performed corrective surgery successfully unpinning my underarm tissue from my muscle & chest wall (significantly relieving a… year’s worth of constant pain and also increasing my arm mobility) and he completed a scar revision from the breast lift that had split open (his stitches were very clean). He also kindly visited before and after surgery in case I had any questions and to check that I was doing well. There are no words to accurately describe how appreciative I am to him. This is a doctor that not only is a master in his field but also genuinely cares about the well being of his patients (an A+ surgeon and human being).

I came to know Dr. David Weintritt of the National Breast Center just over a year ago; when I discovered a lump on my breast. I had a biopsy which confirmed it was breast cancer. As you can imagine the news of my breast cancer was terrifying, unexpected and it took me and my family by complete surprise. I was in great health, I eat healthy, exercise and there was no history of cancer in my family. My husband and I were making plans to start a new chapter in our lives, retiring soon, traveling and enjoying life. This unwanted news dramatically changed our lives. We wanted answers and we were looking for support. Thankfully, we found the answers, support and care from Dr. Weintritt and the professional medical staff at the National Breast Center. I knew that I came to the right place and found the right doctor from my first encounter with Dr. Weintritt. I was so impressed with the high standard of care and his professionalism. He was able to explain the situation to me. He had a caring… demeanor and patience to guide us through the difficult choices regarding the different treatment options for my breast cancer. Dr. Wientritt and the Medical staff created a warm and caring environment which had a lasting and positive impact on my recovery and battle with cancer. He consulted and collaborated with a team of other wonderful doctors and came up with a plan on how to best attack and prevent the cancer from spreading. He supported us through every step of the process; shortly after completing chemotherapy Dr. Weintritt talked to me regarding a double mastectomy which is necessary to insure the cancer does not resurface. As a woman, this was very emotional, personal and difficult decision to loose your breasts. Dr. Weintritt discussed a new procedure involving breast reconstruction and introduced me to a wonderful cosmetic surgeon. I trusted my doctors and agreed to the procedure and the results were better than I could imagine. My husband and I could not believe how amazing and incredible the results looked. I felt so blessed and fortunate to have Dr. Wientritt as my surgeon. I will always be grateful to him and all my doctors. His amazing dedication to the battle against breast cancer is absolutely inspiring. The devotion to his patients, high quality of health care, bedside manner and professionalism is beyond reproach. Additionally, I would like to mention that Dr. Weintritt is not only an outstanding surgeon but he is a compassionate human being that truly cares about raising awareness through the National Breast Center Foundation that helps to bring treatment to women. I highly recommend Dr. Weintritt to be your Cancer Specialist Surgeon, I will always be forever grateful.

He is a very warm and caring Doctor. Knowing he has had a lot of years dealing with women with breast cancer means a lot to me. He has a super bedside manner. I believe 95 percent is having a doctor you have complete trust in.

I am so very grateful that my GYN Dr. Melissa Joy Thiel, MD gave me Dr. David C. Weintritt's name after I was diagnosed with TNBC. They saw me the next day and scheduled surgery within two weeks. I have never met such a patient centered surgeon and I thank God that he was the one who removed my tumor!

Dr Weintritt and his staff are very professional yet personable which can be cumbersome to do. I immediately felt very comfortable and safe with the results given.

Dr Weintritt explained all options for my surgery and recovery with great clarity. He answered my questions as if I were the only patient on his schedule. I never felt rushed. He has a kind, empathetic yet professional demeanor. I have complete confidence in him and I feel much better about my surgery. In addition, his office staff is amazing! They are warm and welcoming and they return calls promptly. I highly recommend Dr. Weintritt and his staff!

Dr. Weintritt and his staff are caring proffessionals. I've been seeing them for several years and appreciate the consistency, follow-up and bedside manner. I was referred to Dr. Weintritt by an MD whose wife is also Dr. Weintritt's patient and that says a lot to me
