Dr. David Chen, DO

Had prior back surgery from before and pain was worsening. Couldnt do anything without pain. He explained everything to me and all that needed to be done. Long story short I feel great. Also he is a great person in general. Makes you feel very comfortable and glad he was my doctor

Dr. Chen is very professional. I have no complaints. I was literally walking on a 90 degree angle from the severe back pain. Dr. Chen was able to see me quickly, diagnose the problem and fix it/me. I am walking upright, little to no pain and I feel great. I would recommend anyone to see Dr. Chen. The staff at both locations that I visited was very professional as well.

My neurologist sent me to see dr Chen because slipped disc in my neck pushed on my spine and I had trouble walking. He was caring and explained everything to me. I had surgery with him and now feeling better than ever thanks to him. He is the best dr I have.

I can't say express enough gratitude to Dr. Chen. I came to see him after visiting two other neurosurgeons for my chronic neck pain. I had been so disappointed with both my prior experiences that I had almost given up trying to find a doctor that would take the time to empathize and understand my pain. I came to see Dr. Chen after a colleague had recommended me to him. Right off the bat, I could sense that it was going to be a different experience. He listened patiently, asked extensive questions, and provided his assessment of my condition, all while taking the time to explain everything thoroughly and in ways that I could understand. I didn't feel the dismissiveness that I felt with the other surgeons that I had encountered, which made me more confident in my decision to entrust him with surgery. Long story short, I'm glad that I did. After suffering years of pain in my neck, which had permeated to my arms and back, I was finally feeling the relief I was longing for, and I can't… thank Dr. Chen enough.

Dr Chen tells you what is wrong with you and tells you his diagnosis, and tells you what you need to have done, but he don’t put it in his reports , only verbal. I wish I had a tape recorder so people would believe me on what he said.Dr Chen wants you in and out of his office, he wants nothing to do with his patients.

I went to see Dr. Chen do to having pain in my lower back that went down to my leg. He was very understanding and sent me to see a neurologist for further evaluation before he would do my surgery. Went back to see him again and he finally made a decision on which way he would proceed to do my spinal surgery. The has been no further pain in my back or down my leg. I definitely would recommend Dr. Chen to anyone the has a spinal issue.

I was referred to Dr. Chen by my Pain Management doctor after enduring many years of chronic back pain. Dr. Chen was amazing and put my mind at ease. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained everything thoroughly in a way that I could digest and understand. After paying him a few visits and sensing first hand that he was very skilled and knowledgable, we went ahead and proceeded with surgery. I've been over a year out and I'm feeling better than ever. After being in pain for all these years, I'm so relieved that I saw Dr. Chen and got the help that I needed.
