Dr. Dawn Renee Lewis, MD

It is so obvious she hates her job and her nurses seemed fed up with her elusive attitude. Totally unprofessional. I was trying to follow up on UTI, and she was no where to be found. Her nurse sounded so frustrated with her, completely chaotic staff. Does not care about her patients, and you can tell she just wants to retire in the beaches of Florida. Why does not she, so someone more at present at their job can step up. Terrible, unreliable humanbeing.

She has terrible bedside manner and rushed through my appointment(literally walked in asked if I had any questions and tried to walk out before I could ask my partner if we had any other questions) and acted as if I was bothering her because I had other concerns and seemed very judgmental. Total of 5 minutes spent in the room and every answer to our questions were “yup” of her nodding her head. Was told the appointment was to complete my first prenatal work up and order for blood work for genetic testing and everything else. She said a nurse practitioner has to do that not her. Asked a few questions on medications I could take and she said yes. Come to find out the medications she said I could take during pregnancy is NOT recommended. I WILL NOT BE SEEING HER EVER AGAIN. Told her I was nauseous constantly and throwing up very often and she gave nausea medications but put in my chart that I denied having any nausea and vomiting symptoms even though I told her and the medical assistant… multiple times I was and have been. I had a lot of complications with severe preeclampsia in my first pregnancy requiring me to deliver 5 weeks early and my daughter having an 8 day stay in a nicu in a completely different hospital than I was in. She was not concerned about anything related to preeclampsia and precautions for it during this pregnancy. If I could give her no stars I would.

Thank you, Dr. Lewis, Dr. Lewis is very knowledgeable in her field. She is kind, considerate, and compassionate with her patients. She takes the time to listen to her patient at every appointment!
