Both visit in hospital and at the office I felt the interactions were very dismissive, rushed, and short. The one at the hospital was very condescending. In addition to that I have called numerous times and left messages with staff when my child was symptomatic as instructed by Dr. Patel to notify her and I have never received a returned call even as I am writing this review. I thank God that my child was not as critical as she was before. I have to say that I have dealt with many specialties at Joe D. and have always had a great experience except with Dr. Patel from the Pediatric Neurosurgery department.

Everyone in office from front desk to the doctors are very informative and professional. Always treat me and my son very ell. Great job everyone !

Dr. Patel is incredibly knowledgeable and did an excellent job educating our family in preparation for our daughter’s surgery. Her surgery was successful thanks to Dr. Patel. She truly took the time to ensure our questions were answered and that we were feeling comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel if anyone is in need of a pediatric neurosurgeon.

Dr. Patel was extremely knowledgeable, she was patient, and listened. She answered every question and explained in detail. Her bedside manner was amazing and was very comforting. She took her time to ensure all my questions and concerns were addressed. I know my daughter was in the best hands.
