Dr. Dean Robert Cummins, MD

Each time I go to see Dr. Cummins, there is an extremely long wait line. The appointment times are not respected and it seems like a first come first serve situation. When I finally do get to see Dr. Cummins, the appointments are extremely rushed and I do not get the patient care I deserve. It is no secret that Dr. Cummins is getting older and the diligence is no longer there. I had a reaction due to a mishap on Dr. Cummins part and there was a huge lack of professionalism to follow. I had to speak back and forth through his receptionist, as Dr. Cummins would not take the time to speak to me himself. I would save your time and see a different doctor.

Dr Dean Cummins expertise is obvious after a few moments. He is thorough in his approach and very caring. I have been very satisfied with his services. Kathy H.

I am a patient of Dr. Cummins for many years. I had heard he was an exceptional opthamologist ... and he is. After my first couple visits I had an emergency on a Sunday and he told me to have someone take me to his office immeiately. By the time I arrived, he had a specialist standing by at the hospital in the event I needed specific eye surgery. Thankfully, I didn't and he didn't charge for the emergency. I required follow up visits and his care and expertise was exceptional. Now that I moved out of state, I still travel to his office in Ossining or Peekskill for my office visits. I use corrective lenses, mono lenses, and contacts. I feel comfortable knowing Dr. Cummins is continually addressesing my current and preventative eyecare needs. He offers, top notch expertise and exceptional care as an opthamologist. He staff is always kind and helpful.

he is an excellent md who cares for his patients. he is very intelligent and knowledgeable in the field of ophthalmology and retina. I even got excellent suggestions with regards to my diabetic condition.
