Dr. Dean Howard Fauber, MD

I couldn’t get in to see my regular doctor. So I had to see Dr Fauber. Next time I will wait for my regular doctor. ??ugh

I wouldn't go back to this doctor again. He referred to me as you people when talking about Medicaid and food stamps. My ex-husband has passed so I don't receive child support I work full-time and deserve my Medicaid and Foodstamps,I pay taxes as well. He referred to my son's eating habits as a lack of discipline. So he gave me a bunch of parenting tips. After leaving his office I sought out a gastroenterologist and found that my son had H. pylori in his belly. I had to ask for the referral myself. After that I had to ask for a referral to a neurologist and found that my son has Asperger's syndrome. Basically several diagnoses that this doctor has Failed to take into consideration.

Dr Fauber is not our regular dr but we've had to see him twice now when our regular one has been out. Both times he rushed us out of there. He dismissed my questions saying to ask at our regular upcoming check up visit. I don't feel I should have to wait 2 more weeks to have my question answered if I'm sitting in front of the dr now. Other than rushing he does seem to be knowledgeable and did write a Rx for us that we needed but I felt like since my DD doesn't normally see him, he wanted to only do a basic once over and get us out of there. We are much happier with one of the other doctors in that practice so we continue to go. Unfortunately though, the staff there needs some improvements. The nurse that answers questions from the nurse line gives misinformation about meds (triple checked with 3 different pharmacies) and the employees up front keep calling my DD a "he" and spells here name wrong even if I verbally spell it to them before they look it up. It just seems like such a… hassle to make an appointment when they can't do something as simple as get the child's name and gender correct. The office is normally running 30 mins behind too but that's expected I guess at a pediatric office.
