Very down to earth, common sense doctor. Takes her time and really listens to you.

Dr Young has a good and professional attitude towards her patients, BUT her attitude towards her co workers are horrible. She has and continues to talk to other nurses as if they are incompetent. If the nurses/lab techs do not do what she wants, she will threaten them with her husband's title and who he knows within the carilion work place. There have been employees asked to leave because they have went to the medical director as well as the CEO, but they are all scared of her as well. Carilion company allows their providers, with certain titles, to walk all over their staff. They don't care about anything but making their money

Began seeing Dr. Young when my primary care physician retired and advised me that Dr. Young was her doctor! Dr. Young is so conseinious, really listens and asks me questions too. Excellent "bedside" manner, friendly, detail oriented and thorough. Highly recommend Dr. Young!

I just love Doctor Young. She is so nice; she really listens to what I have to tell her and she understands my medical issues. I'm really glad that I finally got my insurance back so that I can make appointments with her again. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I have seen this doctor for 4 years. She is caring and concerned. She listens. She spends enough time with you for you to get questions answered. Her nurse is excellent about returning calls and helping. Front desk screws up sometimes, so call back if nurse doesn't call you back.
