Dr. Debbie Ann Vigil, MD

2 stars as I can't give positive or negative feedback about the Dr. Vigil herself. I saw her once for my annual and it was fine. However, her stuff, especially the nurse or at least one of them, are very unhelpful, unfriendly and extremely arrogant, which I just can't stand. It's not enough that I did not receive an expected follow up call (after explaining the issue, she said she will talk to the doctor and call me back; never happened), that my schedule was messed up twice, I was blamed for her messed up schedule as if I did not get it right (200% percent was not the case). I left the office without seeing the doctor very agitated and angry. I have to say that the receptionist, an elder lady, was nice and tried to be helpful.

I had to find an OB/GYN due to a change of insurance plans. This DR seemed sweet as can be until she required a follow up appointment just to tell me that my blood results were great. $40 for that. Something that could have been taken care of with a simple 20 second phone call or message. Then, I got a bill for the initial annual exam which is covered by all insurance plans. This piece of work charged me because she said we discussed my family history of cancer. MODERN DAY CROOK ladies. Never again.

she is not trying to get to know patient, superficial exam, poor communication, money centered, etc.....

i was amazed that i was given a n appointment the following day. Dr. Vigil's diagnosis was right on target and the prescription she gave me was an immediate relief by the next morning. Very courteous and caring doctor and staff. Thank you!!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Vigil and her professionalism and caring...she is wonderful, she explains everything in depth, I have been seeing her since she came to Santa Fe and began her practice, my family members go to her now and she brought my niece and nephew into the world. She has gone above and beyond for me, and gave me peace when I was worried about my health issues. Her office staff is very nice and her waiting room is always very calm and quiet, you really feel like you're being taken care of, I almost never see another patient there because they keep that office running so smoothly. I have to say, she creates an environment of healing and care that you just don't see. I worked for a group of doctors who wholeheartedly agreed she should be the doctor I see when I began to have health issues. I felt very confident having her on my side and following her instructions for care. She's great, and often times I reflect on how blessed I was to have found her to care for me. She… truly is a gem.

Dr. Vigil explained the procedure/process, asked if I had questions and made me feel comfortable. She exposed a genuine appreciation of having me as a patient.

I don't think she tries to find the reason of the problems , just prescribes medications and that's it.
