Dr. Lori Lee Mcneal, MD

Dr. McNeal is an amazing doctor. I have been going to her for over 15 years. She is extremely knowledeable and caring. She always listens attentivley to what you have to say and truly cares about her patients. Being an older mom I was at ease with her and the care she gave me was outstanding. She delivered my daughter via C-section and was amazing.

She is such an amazing doctor! I am 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby and am feel so lucky to have her as my OB. I had pre-existing high blood pressure and developed a thyroid problem during pregnancy and she addressed and fixed those issues effectively and immediately! My husband and I both adore her. We never wait long to see her, she pays attention to both of us and really wants to hear and answer our questions and she's very knowledgeable and caring! She seems to really care about her patients! She will be performing my c-section next month and I have every confidence in her and am so grateful she'll be handling my surgery for my baby girl.

My husband and I initially were very impressed with Dr. McNeal; great staff, she seemed very knowledgeable. Over the course of my pregnancy and after we increasingly felt as though she was a little too busy to give adequate time to each patient. As a result, an issue I brought up to her nursing staff over the phone was only minimally addressed and eventually resulted in a much bigger problem. We have since switched OB's and are now with a doctor who truly does seem to have time to assess what each patient needs. While I would say that Dr. McNeal is a good doctor overall, I think she would benefit from growing in her bedside manner and listening/taking time with patients.

Lori is a wonderful doctor. Great at making you feel comfortable and informed. Have been going to her since I was 18, so about 8 years now. I trust her implicitely and know when I'm ready to have children, she is the person I want watching over me.

Dr. McNeal is the reason my baby girl is here! I had a high risk pregnancy with very high blood pressure. She is very attentive and on top of things and has a wonderful personality. Her nurses are also wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone but especially if your pregnancy is considered high risk.

I have mixed feelings about McNeal. During most of my pregnancy I felt very meh about her. When I called in tears about a concern, I felt she was very cold and a little snappish. She was always friendly and courteous during my appointments but seemed rushed. Where she really shone, however, was when my pregnancy went south around 30 weeks and when I ended up having an emergency c-section at 34 weeks. She is in her element with complications and risky pregnancies and that was when she became everything I needed her to be. She was informative and available and very on top of things. My c-section went beautifully, my recovery was a snap and my scar is barely there. She's a good person to have in your corner if you're having a higher risk pregnancy. I have a few higher risk friends who use her and love her to pieces. If you're low risk, though, and are the type who wants to have a lot of face time with your doctor then you might be happier with one of the other doctors in the practice.
