I was referred to Dr.Konkol in my last trimester (my doctor was preparing to retire). After an extremely painful exam (checking dilation) I left the office confused and uncomfortable, I figured the discomfort was due to me being dilated. After doing some research in between my next appointment, I arrived with a small list of questions for her. I asked her about membrane sweeping and when this tactic would be used, to which she answered that she had already done it. I was stunned, she stated she did it my previous appointment, which explains the pain I felt. We never had a conversation about membrane sweeping, it was done without my informed consent. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this doctor. As a women's health professional, who is also I woman, you would expect better.

Dr. Konkol has been my OB for almost 10 years!!! She’s very honest, open with you, doesn’t sugar coat, and definitely cares about you!!!!! It’s always a great visit when I go to her office. I truly love this lady. She’s been an awesome doctor to me.

De. Konkel is amazing. Its like having a Mom for your Doctor. She cares, she’s transparent and skilled at surgery.

I would not recommend dr konkol to any pregnant woman! She has terrible bedside manner and the whole office is so unprofessional. They all got into an argument in front of patients one day at one of my appointments. Dr konkol does rushes you and acts annoyed if you ask questions. I ended up switched doctors half way through my pregnancy and I am SO glad I did! I can't believe this woman is even aloud to be a doctor! They all act like a bunch of teenagers! Please don't use her! You will regret it!
