My mother went to Randolph Hospital for a simple procedure and due to this doctor's negligence she almost lost her life. There were many OBVIOUS signs of bilateral pneumonia(increased white blood cells,shortness of breath,harsh congestive cough producing thick green mucous,expiratory wheezing at base of lungs,oxygen saturation droped and oxygen level being administered had to be increased several times,rapid response team called in numerous times). The RN asked McRoberts if she was going to order a chest x-ray, but she said there was no need for one and discharged my mother. She returned that night in complete respiratory failure and had to be intubated for over 24 hours; she almost died and remained in the hospital for 3 weeks. Her health has never been the same and she was never compensated for this huge mistake that almost took her life. She was a healthy woman who was rarley ever sick.
