Dr. Deborah Ramanathan, MD

Did not introduce herself when she entered the room even though I was a new patient. Not knowledgable of current practices at all. Told me the antibiotic she prescribed was not suitable while breast feeding even though it is (according to breastfeeding resources and my child's pediatrician). Told me she was prescribing me medication before examining me. Told me to keep my baby in my house for 5 years so her immune system will fully develop (I was not there about my baby). Told me to lose weight when I complained of dizziness and that I should not eat after 4pm. Did not ask about my medical history at all be firing giving advice.

Doctor ramanathan is quak! she screws up prescrips. wrong meds. Impossibe fallow up. She needs to retire! You put your life on the line if you go there.

Dr. Romanathan "was" a good doctor. However she is getting to old to practice anymore. She does not use a computer well enough and often makes mistakes with prescriptions and records. And has many problems with doing the paper work on prescribed government controled meds. And refuses to write the scrips stateing that she can't be bothered to do the paper work. Also her english is very differcult to understand. Dr Deborah Ramanathan is getting to old to do the job, it is time to retire.

I really liked her. I don't have insurance and the price was very good. I go when I need a Dr and she is very nice to deal with. I love that old time office feel.

I suggest with Dr. Ramanathan that her patients consider getting a second opinion.I thought my son had epilepsy, and Dr. Ramanathan disagreed with me. I had misplaced faith in her judgement thinking she knew more than I did, after all she she is a doctor. We found out later my son did have epilepsy and had I gotten a second opinion, he would have been treated sooner...

I had a last minute appointment and they took me. It's very hard to get a Dr. who can see you on the same day, with my previous Dr. I had to wait at least a week to get in, and by then what's the point. The staff was courteous and caring. The office is an older office, it apparently is an historic building, and has an older feel to it, although it could be updated a bit or something to improve the feel of the place. It can be a very busy office with one physician, and she does move quickly, but she was able to get me in and take care of my problems when I needed it, which to me was the most important thing.

Dr. Deborah Ramanathan I suppose is a good doctor, but my experience with her has been negative. She always seems to be in a hurry, at least the 3 or 4 times that I saw her. She sends you for various tests, tells you there's a problem, but does not follow up on anything, at least not in my case. I have a couple of serious issues and she just brushed them off. No return visit, no monitoring the situation and no referrals for further testing. She always seems preoccupied with other things. I only go to her as a last resort, but end up regretting it. She makes me feel as if I came at a bad time. I think it's time I look for a more caring physician who has time for me and the health issues I am facing.

SHE WORKS WITH YOU, IS VERY INFORMITIVE BEST DOCTOR I EVER HAD, WOULD NOT CHANGE FOR ANYTHING!
