Very careful review of injury

Instead of driving my wife to her first chemo treatment at Bon Secours St. Maryâ??s, she dropped ME off first at the emergency room with significant right-side abdominal pain. I was a cantankerous, non-obliging patient with the nursing and tech staff (e.g. continually getting up and off the bed and complaining about many things such the auto blood pressure cuff). This did not faze Dr. Vinton; she was congenial, calming, energetic in action, and compassionate. Her diagnosis was prompt and accurate: Kidney stone. She is a very bright and dedicated MD that has the full respect of her staff (i.e. she can motivate them, even with a demotivating very grumpy old man in pain). I commend Bon Secours-Richmond, VA for recruiting her. She is a credit to the medical field and emergency medicine.
