Dr. Levinsky was rather abrupt after I had my third child. She seemed to be having emotional problems and I was told by her staff that she is having personal issues. I would not recommend her to anyone. What a shame because she used to be a very good physician. Maybe retirement is in her near future.

I just logged in with LabCorp for the first time ever and see that in 2015 I got a bad pap result. The doctor never emailed, called, or sent a postcard about this. I thought I was fine and could go every 5 years, as I was told to when I should have been closely monitored. Insane incompetency.

Took me 10 years from when I saw her to when I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I went to her for 4 years and each time she dismissed me saying that some people "just have bad cramps" and would prescribe me whatever the latest birth control she was told to push was. Even her pap smears are rough and noncommunicative. I do not recommend her if you are looking for comprehensive OBGYN care.

(Note: I am in the process of filing multiple complaints against this doctor, including with the medical board.) I had a complication after surgery and Dr. Levinsky treated me like I wasn't really sick, delayed in ordering proper diagnostics, was rude and disrespectful to me and my family, and refused me proper pain management.

Dr. Levinsky was my physician for several years, but I usually saw her P.A. who was great. Dr. Levinsky always made me feel that my concerns were unimportant and minor, and that any emotional reaction to bad news was just ridiculous. During a surgical stay at Alta Bates, I saw Dr. Levinsky pitch a hissy fit in my room directed at the pharmacy department. I was mortified, and the nursing staff told me that that was just her way. Following the surgery, I had many problems which she dismissed. I eventually got a proper diagnosis from another doctor. I would never recommend Dr. Levinsky to anyone seeking a warm, caring ob/gyn. Her office staff is glum and uncaring. Just horrible.
