Diane E Krause, MD, MPH

I have been a patient of Dr Krause for many years and have been through several difficult medical issues with her. She is open, honest, compassionate and extremely intelligent. As a medical practitioner myself I have greatly appreciated her guidance and support and would highly recommend her as an PCP.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Krause about a year ago for a general check-up/physical. For starters, she was on time and her bedside manner was good as well. She was very receptive to alternative ways of dealing with things instead of just writing out a prescription for whatever ails you and sending you on your way. I received follow up correspondence regarding all my tests in a timely fashion. I've since seen her on one other occasion regarding an unrelated medical issue. After an examination she referred me to a specialist at Tufts who successfully treated the issue. Would highly recommend her as a general practitioner.

Dr. Krause should not be in clinical practice. She has no patient skills and would be much better suited to a role in biomedical research.

Overall my experience was total waste of time because of followings:1. I was mislead and avoided for the reqiured check up by this doctor. 2. No follow up visits or treatments for already dignosed syptoms;3. Careless of health issues. e.g. leave the protential health risks to grow bigger as long as the patient is not dying this moment.4. Unconfident with limited knowledge on medicines. Always tells the patient to get over-the-courter medicines,or provides the least dosed prescriptions not even meet the basic needs.Why bother to make an appointment? Anyone could get over-the-counter medicines without seeing a doctor.
