Dr. Donald Lynn Griner

I have been a patient of Dr. Griner for 26 years. He is a wonderful doctor; knowledgeable, sensitive and has a good sense of humor. Sets me at ease when I see him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Donald Griner for over 15 years. He has always been attentive to my needs, especially in referring me out to specialists, and finding me the best possible medications that will help me to manage my diabetes and other health issues that arise. He has always been so compassionate and genuinely concerned about my health, and always takes the time to really listen !:) The nursing staff is always so helpful, especially with getting me in with last minute appointments and changing them when conflicts arise:) They always greet me with a smile, and make sure that I not only have questions answered, but I have a summary if my visit as well! :) Great job!

I have been going to this office for a long time (years) and have always received excellent care no matter who I see. Dr. Griner doesn't sound at all like that person saying all those bad things. He always take time when I'm there all the staff takes the time. I would refer him to anyone who need a great family doctor.

I was a new patient and had the oddest experience I have ever had at a doctors office. After telling a very rude nurse why I was there the doctor came in and asked over and over why I was there. He would ask (I had what seemed like a sinus infection) he would ask a symptom and type into the computer and then ask again. Over and over. Then he talked about an inhaler, left the room for what I assumed maybe getting a prescription or a sample and never came back. I finally came out and the nurse laughed and said he must have forgotten I was in there and that she would send him back in. Another hour later he never returned. I came out and she said, "He still didn't come in, I told him twice." He had went to lunch! I left angry and went to a nearby urgent care. Then found he billed my insurance company for an expanded visit. I called the Office Manager who argued. I told her that I wanted my copay back which I paid in cash and had a receipt for. She told me she would look into it. Despite… having a receipt she told me she didn't have any cash for that day. I told her I would be there at 330pm with my receipt to show her. Their hours say they close at 4pm on the door. When I got there the doors were locked. She is now looking into it. I cant warn anyone enough not to go here. I have never experienced something like this.

Title says it all. I have been going to Paragon Med for over 9 years. I originally began seeing another doctor who left Paragon Medical. In the last 6 years I have only seen Dr. Griner four (4) times. Although he is likable and personable he never remembers why I am there or why I was there before. It sees as though he does not check or read charts until after he is in the room. On my last visit I gave him information on my symptoms to which he said he knew nothing about had no knowledge of,etc.... He wrote yet another prescription and another referral. I left specimen and have had no response from him in over 10 days. His office has no record of my calls and has my last visit recorded with his Nurse NOT with him. Unprofessional, unresponsive, dismissive. HE IS A PRESCRIBER NOT A PROVIDER!!!

I would recommend Dr. Griner to anyone who wants a great doctor.

I will never go here again. I was a new patient and 2 appointments were cancelled due to the doctors being out. When I finally saw the older doctor he just seemed off. He forgot what I was telling him as I was telling him. He said I had a virus and I knew better so I went straight from his office to the Urgent Care next door. I had a chest XRay and was diagnosed with pneumonia and given antibiotics. I went back to the office to ask for my copay back and the manager wouldn't refund my copay. I have filed a claim with the Medical Board. Beware of this office.

I have NEVER been treated so badly! This doctor is rude! He didn't even listen to me when I tried to tell him my symptoms. He said he was going to write a prescription and didn't give it to me. I thought he was calling it in and was afraid to ask him for it at the end because he was so mean. When I went to the pharmacy I wasn't called in. I called the office and was told they would give him a message. He called me back and he had no recollection of seeing me today!!! I saw him less than six hours ago and he forgot me and then had the nerve to argue with me about it! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Time for this doctor to hang it up. I have seen him 3 times in the recent future and each time he has forgotten something during my exam. I understand we all forget things as we get older, but he and his nurse had a full blown argument in earshot of my room that even she told him that he was forgetting things. I called the office to complain operator told me that the manager is aware and had talked to the other doctor in the office and they were addressing. I haven't seen any changes and the other doctors don't take new patients. Very nice man, but should be seeing a doctor, not practicing as one.

I've been seeing Dr. Griner for years, and you really couldn't ask for a more caring doctor. He's very knowledgeable about almost everything, too. Plus his staff is efficient and well run.
