As usual, Dr. Hoffman was very thorough during my appointment. He explained the test results and explained next steps for follow up.

I had to wait over an hour to get to see Dr. Hoffman. The visit was good but the wait time was too long.

I have been a patient since his arrival from NY. He had that NY mannerisms for a while. We have converted him to a southern gentleman. He is direct and to the point to treat for the main reason for your visit. Slow him down and let him know you have other issues.

Very good doctor. I’ve been seeing him for decades. He used to be kind of “ smug “ but now he’s very friendly. Staff is very professional.

Once upon a time I would have given him 5 stars. I’m not sure what happen to this guy. When I first went to him he was the best. Very nice and thorough guy. He actually helped me “live” again so I was happy to see him. Never went to any other pcp when I wasn’t seeing him. This time, I went back to reestablish myself as a new patient. Instantly he was rude, condescending at times, self-centered, and Very dismissive. He was more so talking at me versus allowing me to answer any of his questions. I sat in the waiting room for an hour before I was seen just for him to come in and act like I disturbed his day. I did not like the way he spoke to me at all. For example, he wanted to draw more blood. I had the blood drawn a week prior. He said it was nonnegotiable. The blood work may not have all he needs… He wanted the results printed. I said I’ll get it for him so he doesn’t have to wait for a release and he could look at the results on my phone in the meantime and see if it’s missing… anything he needs so we can draw the blood right then if need be. He said “printed on paper! And given to me... I can’t look at your results on a phone.” So when I went to ask him a question he cut me off in the middle of it by stating “I don’t have time to talk to you. You’ll see me in a week.” I snapped back a little and said “I don’t have time either. I’m asking if I get the paper (from across the street) should I come back and see the lab room really quick and let them draw the blood today?” He popped his pen down and quickly said “you see me… I work alone not with anyone else. I have no assistants, nothing. This is how I operate… you come here… you see me. Anytime you enter this building you see me… understand?” Just for me to go to the front desk and they ask me “are you coming to see him or just do labs?”… I don’t know who this guy was. I have never felt so disappointed by a doctor in my life. I was already feeling overwhelmed but he made me feel sad and angry that I waisted money and time to come see him… and on a day I was to be extremely busy. I have anxiety and panic disorder, feeling depressed because I’m under a lot of stress and in fear of my reasons for having to see my doctors again. I’m also ADHD… I felt extremely overstimulated with everything he was throwing at me… the dismissiveness, the puffed out chest… my feelings of disbelief asking myself is this really happening?… I wanted to snap at him so bad and almost did but caught myself. But not to mention… they had other peoples information in my charts. And wouldn’t explain to me why or how they got in there… things such as seizures, alopecia, gallstones, arthropathy, and more… I’ve never had those things. I can’t put everything here because it was so much. I’m literally heartbroken by him. I’ve sent many people there but I won’t praise him anymore. I didn’t even get to tell him why I was there that’s how hyped up he was and in disbelief I was. And before you wonder was a rude to him… never. All my doctors tell me I’m their fav patient because of my upbeat personality when I see them even though I’m going through a rough time. He walked in and it was immediate… at the end… no goodbye, have a good day… nothing. I’m in such disbelief. I’m sorry… reception was very nice, very professional. The nurse I saw prior to him coming in, very nice authentic personality. I felt very comfortable. Hoffman… I don’t know what happen there.
