Dr. Edward William Brown, MD

The office it self is a bit slow but the care from Dr. Brown is excellent.

Dr. Brown prevented my son from going blind in one eye and caught my daughter's vision problem at the age of one. We owe him a debt of gratitude.

The receptionist was not very friendly from the moment we checked in. We even arrived early to complete paperwork. It took 45 minutes for my 4 year old boy to be seen with my 2 year old son in tow. Side note: Air conditioning wasn't working so it was getting hot quickly. Physician Asst was courteous. Dr. explained things pretty well. Said that they needed to dilate eyes - wait for 30 minutes and then it will be a quick check back to look in his eyes. Concerned at the wait after 45 minutes already, but ok. Went outside (no food allowed in office) to give kids snack. Brought back in at 25 minutes. Didn't get seen again until after 1 hour of waiting. When I asked the front desk how much longer she said she'd ask someone but never got up from her seat. When my kids were screaming because being couped up in an office for 2 hours in the heat is too much for them and I looked at her desperate for an answer she smugishly grinned at me. Final conclusion - "keep observing his eyes… and come back in 6 months." 2 hours and 20 minutes for that? I don't think so. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

I tried to get an appointment to have my daughter's eye checked but i received the worst experience ever. It felt like a scene from a movie. After being referred by another doctor to check a growing ball on her eyelid they told me that I had to wait at least 2 months for them to see her. No empathy whatsoever, no offer to give recommendations for another specialist. She had a tone of voice with the take it or leave it attitude.
