Dr. Eli Robert Brown, MD

Dr. Eli Brown saw my intellectually disabled brother in the ER at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. We found him to be arrogant and entirely useless. He ticks his little boxes, but doesn't listen or attempt to diagnose or treat the patient. My brother had severe stomach pain following Covid, and I told this doctor that it was an inflammatory process. He denied it and was unecessarily argumentative, refusing to even consider the possibility. After much argument, he agreed to run the most basic of inflammatory marker tests, which did not show anything, then sent my brother home, still in severe distress. Five months later after visiting other doctors and additional testing, he was diagnosed with gastroparesis triggered by Covid. Finally, we could begin treating him, and three months after that, his pain finally resolved. I will remember never to let Dr. Eli Brown near my family again.
