My mom, sister and I all have Dr. Appel as our doctor. She is very thoughtful and caring . She is a doctor that truly cares about your well being.. The best doctor ever

I also have been a patient of Dr. Appel for 23 years, since Kaiser Permanente in East Hartford. She insisted I go to a specialist for a mole I had. I told her I had already been to one and they biopsied it and said it was negative. Well she insisted because she said she didn't like the look of it, so I went to another dermatologist. It ended up being melanoma, stage 2. I had surgery and have been clear since. Dr. Appel probably saved my life. I am forever grateful. She is THE best.
