Dr. Elizabeth Anne Ouellette, MD

Dr. Oulette has been a friend and my surgeon for a number of years. There is no one in this world. I trust more with my hands than Dr. Oulette. Her skills are second to none her personality is what you need when you have a problem and you’re scared. I recommend everyone who needs an upper extremity specialist to Dr. Oulette. There is nobody better and nobody with more experience with upper extremity than her. I absolutely adore her and so thankful that she is who she is.

Not only were my appointments at 2 and I would be leaving at 6 every time , but the results of my flexor slide surgery on my left hand was a fail I went to therapy for months only for her to say to me there’s no therapy in the world that will help my hand. To begin with I couldn’t move my left hand and my hand was always closed like a fist and it caused tightness on my shoulder and she suggested the flexor slide plus she did another incision that was not necessary that made my left fingers hyper extend . There’s not a day that goes by after 7 years that I don’t think about how uncomfortable I feel . Not only uncomfortable the way I feel about my hand, but also the way it feels on a daily even when I’m sleeping . It’s horrible . In my last appointment after commenting about no therapy will ever help me, but to then suggest and draw another surgery for my thumb I couldn’t believe it. After I left I never went back. It was a bad experience that I now have to live with for the rest of my… life .

Is exactly what I was told also “get another JOB!” This after a 3.5 hour wait. Rude lacking any degree of compassion. Horrible individual -I have since had surgery by another surgeon with speedy recovery minimal pain and YES have continued my JOB WORKING IN THE SURGICAL SUITE! Run from her as fast as possible

Thanks a lot Dr. Ouellette for making my hand worse after a year and a half! And the only alternative you offer at this point is to have another operation, which I will not because you promised me my pain would go away after my surgery. I should not have to have another operation of my knuckle replacement on my index finger. I did everything you asked of me and more, and I’m very disappointed in you!

Arrived today for an appointment at 12:30pm. I was informed upon arrival that they were running 3 hours behind, yet no one called to inform me. Unprofessional to say the least.

For 2 days tried to get appt was either put on hold for the longest time,or when finally some one took a massage, I never received a call back. Dr might be great but her office stuff lacks professionalism. Busy is not an excuse Hope Dr reads comments

Elizabeth Anne believes it is perfectly O.K. to keep patients waiting hours beyond their appointment time. I left after cooling my heels for over 1 1/2 hrs without seeing her. Her game, of course, is to make sure she has not even a minute of down time despite the major inconvenience to patients. This is rude. and an insult to patients. The canned excuses by her staff..ie., emergencies, consultations taking longer than expected, etc.. don't cut it. She is never early for an appointment, so thid is clearly a matter of ovetr-scheduling. Elizabeth Anne will continue to abuse patients until people stop putting up with it..as I did. No matter how skilled a doctor is, it's not worth it. There are hundreds of really excellent hand surgeons in the Miami area as alternatives. (All of this ignores the office administrative procedures that suck. Eg., fill out a whole bunch of forms, than have a tech ask the same questions all over again.).

I DROVE OVER 3 HOURS TO SEE HER ONLY TO FIND OUT SHE WAS RUNNING BEHIND BY 2.5 HRS, SHE SAW ME FOR MAYBE 10 MINS ORDERED A TEST TO HAVE DONE WHERE I LIVED, WAS TOLD WE COULD GO OVER RESULTS ON THE PHONE SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO TAKE MORE TIME OFF OF WORK TO DRIVE BACK DOWN THERE FOR A 5 MIN APT, I HAD THE TEST DONE AND WAS THEN TOLD SHE WILL NOT DISCUSS RESULTS OVER THE PHONE AND I WOULD HAVE TO COME BACK DOWN THERE TO DISCUSS RESULTS, I WILL BE SENDING HER A BILL FOR MY WASTED TIME, STAFF IS VERY RUDE , THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY, THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES FOR LYING THROUGH THERE TEETH JUST TO MAKE A BUCK.

I went to her because i heard and read good things about her. I did a surgery and did not improve a thing, just wasted time, money and i am beyond unsatisfied and sad with the outcome.
