Dr. Elliot Lyndon Shulman, MD

I have been trying for three months to get an appointment to no avail. The phone number listed on the website largely goes unanswered. One time I actually reached an answering machine I was instructed to leave a detailed message and someone would get back to me. I left a message and no one ever got back to me. Another time I actually reached a live person (a woman), she asked me a lot of questions, I explained my situation (possibility of prostate cancer), she said would talk to the doctor and he would call me back. To this day I have not heard from him. If I have cancer it has probably spread while I engaged in this exercise of futility.

Having been to several Urologists with no satisfaction, I was referred to Dr.Shulman. I made the appointment and met a compassionate, thoughtful doctor who answers his own cell phone. I finally found a physician who asks the correct questions. and is willing to search for the proper treatment for me.

I actually came to meet Dr. Elliot Shulman by accident. An 8mm kidney stone was found during pre-op testing for sinus surgery. Dr. Shulman took me into his care & showed me qualities that ALL medical professionals should possess. He is thorough, professional & informative; not to mention his unselfish, hands-on approach giving his personal cell phone # for constant contact with his patients. His staff joins him with all of these forms. By far, although a painful experience, I knew I was in the best hands.

Dr. Shulman was absolutely fantastic and cared to all my needs. I did have to wait a little while in the office but that's just part of the deal when seeing such a great doctor!

He is doing his best for every his patient.

I first came to Dr. Shulman after my Wilson's disease diagnosis since I was worried about the UTIs I frequently get. The Wilson's disease is responsible for this, among other issues such as cirrhosis. He was moved by how upset I am about it, and he talks to me about it & offered to lend me a couple of books from which he felt I'd benefit, along with prescribing medicine to help me and keeping an eye on the cyst on my kidney. He's a good doctor and very nice.

Not a compassionate Dr. Elliot. I have been with him for 3 yrs. My prescription plan changed + now requires a Dr yearly approval with the Dr for the certain medication I need. He refuses to personally contact them. He would rather lose his patient than call because of his personal principles. He said his prescription is good enough. The pharmacy can't fill my meds until the Dr contact my prescription plan. He had the nerve to tell me to buy the medicine $$$$ outside the plan. I now need to see another Dr to get my much needed prescription thru my medical plan.
